PRK
(Parents Reading With Kids)

 PRK is a program sponsored by LR PTA to encourage kids to read.  This is a great program and a very easy and fun way to be involved in your child’s classroom!  The kids love this program and are always so excited when we come into their classroom.  Parent volunteers go into every classroom to read to the class and then every student gets to pick a book to take home. (You choose whether to read or pass out books.)

If you would like to help with PRK, please fill out the volunteer form in your PTA Handbook that was sent home with your child and send it to school with your child.

First Distribution Dates:

Primary (K-1) December 7th

Elementary (2-3) December 8th

Upper (4-5) December 9th

Second Distribution Dates:

Primary (K-1) April 24th

Elementary (2-3) April 25th

Upper (4-5) April 26th
